Worth weighing

  • Limited English at reception — Some guests noted staff had limited English and could struggle to provide detailed information.
  • Kitchen supplies on request — At least one guest had to ask for dishes and cutlery to be brought up to the room.
  • Neighbourhood Wi-Fi outages — Internet can fail – one guest reported an outage that affected the whole neighbourhood for a night.

“Very good value for the price. The property is clean, well-organised, well-located, and the breakfast is good. Staff are kind and helpful.”

“Rooms are spacious with good Wi-Fi. Every apartment has a mini kitchen, a living room and a bedroom, giving a home-like feel.”

8.5Verified guest

“Excellent location near Paulista Avenue – a safe area close to the metro, restaurants and shops. The unit had a living room and small kitchenette, but we had to request dishes and cutlery. Brazil is pricey now: a tiny frozen yogurt cost 12 RL (about $7), taxis are expensive due to heavy traffic, and tour prices varied wildly from 1,300 to 45 RL – we took the 45 RL one. The metro is the best option. Knowing some Spanish or Portuguese helps.”

8.5Verified guest

“Staff were friendly and helpful, though their English was limited and they struggled to provide detailed information. Location was excellent, facilities decent.”

8.5Verified guest

“It's an apartment and it's neat, so it's comfortable – you can spend the whole day here if you need to work.”

“Good gym for a hotel, fast internet (though it failed along with the whole neighbourhood one night). Minibar prices were reasonable.”
